As usual, the net visible result after hours of work is negligible. <!--more-->I installed moulding around the top of the bath-shower surround. I repaired a trim board on the front steps. I hot-glued the blades on the ceiling fan back together where they are rusting apart \u2013 we&#8217;ll see how long that makeshift repair holds. I patched a few holes and divots in the ceiling between the living room and kitchen, but I didn&#8217;t make it into the kitchen proper. Then I started on yard work, where I trimmed back <s>two<\/s> three large bushes and buried the trimmings in the bank along the beach. This last task entailed a lot of time and a lot of digging in the sand.<\/p>\n<p>And now the weekend is over.<\/p>\n<p>3 August 2014<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today I worked on lots of little stuff around the house.
