DAY TEN: Lots of Little Stuff… Amounting to Nothing

Today I worked on lots of little stuff around the house. As usual, the net visible result after hours of work is negligible. I installed moulding around the top of the bath-shower surround. I repaired a trim board on the front steps. I hot-glued the blades on the ceiling fan back together where they are rusting apart – we’ll see how long that makeshift repair holds. I patched a few holes and divots in the ceiling between the living room and kitchen, but I didn’t make it into the kitchen proper. Then I started on yard work, where I trimmed back two three large bushes and buried the trimmings in the bank along the beach. This last task entailed a lot of time and a lot of digging in the sand.

And now the weekend is over.
